I will never shop here again. Iβve been a regular customer for a long time. Even had a rewards card. I bought a bag of seed a few weeks ago that hatched moths all over my garage. When I went to return it the older lady was so rude. I could barely get a word out when she: 1) accused me of having the seed for a long time (literally bought it a couple of weeks ago) 2) told me everyone knows that bird seed has moth larvae and I should know to store it in my freezer because moths will hatch. WHAT? This is ridiculous. When I explained I had never had seed hatch a million moths she dismissed me and the other salesperson had to replace the bag. I explained I was a frequent customer and I didnβt like the way she was speaking to me she said nothing. I walked out and I asked my husband to give her my frequent shopper card since I was never stepping foot in there again. I own a business and if one of my employees treated a customer that way they would be fired immediately. So my pro tip is donβt shop here. They donβt care about their customers. I want to support small business which is why I over paid for their seed for years and drove out of my way to come here. Never again. Aside from

Iβve been in multiple times for backyard purchases and have been happy to support local, even if paying a bit of a premium. However, my last two visits have been unpleasant and then most recently, downright uncomfortable. Today I came in with my very well-behaved daughter, who helps take care of our bird feeders and fountains. We were reprimanded twice to βbe careful of all the breakablesβ while my (well behaved) daughter, was right at my side. She looked at an item and the woman again appeared to say βthose are glass!β (I can see that.) We had barely made it inside the door and were in the store no more than 3 minutes. To have been approached and reprimanded twice was extremely uncomfortable and given my daughterβs behavior, very uncalled for. I have never been treated that way in a store just for entering with a child. Very disappointing as there are fewer and fewer options to shop local. And we are a big gardening and bird watching family, so I would have loved for my daughter to have been welcomed and given the opportunity to shop around with me.

This is one of my favorite little stores in Charlotte. Every time I'm looking for a beautiful, fun, unique gift, I come here. Not only is the selection vast and quality, but the ladies who work here are always so delightful. Parking in this parking lot can be a bit of a hassle, but the shop itself is 100% work walking across the parking lot for.
